On Oct 23, Pony.ai, a unicorn startup in Nansha, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the leading mobility company Emile Weber from Luxembourg. This collaboration aims to promote the research and deployment of autonomous vehicles and technology in Luxembourg.
In September of this year, Pony.ai established its European research and development (R&D) center in Luxembourg, focusing on exploring and customizing solutions for autonomous driving. Emile Weber, with a history of 150 years, is a prominent local provider of integrated mobility services in Luxembourg, including public and personal transportation services and taxi operations.

Peng Jun, co-founder of Pony.ai, stated that the strategic partnership with Emile Weber will bring world-class autonomous driving technology and products to the forefront. Emile Weber, Emile Weber's managing partner, expressed that the collaboration will usher in a new era of transportation in Luxembourg.
Pony.ai plans to leverage its Chinese expertise and autonomous driving solutions globally, with R&D centers already established in China, the United States, and Europe. Concurrently, Pony.ai is expanding its international presence to facilitate the global deployment of autonomous driving commercial products. The company intends to list the NASDAQ in the United States to showcase its leading position in autonomous driving technology.
According to market forecasts, the global autonomous driving mobility services market holds immense potential, with China expected to emerge as one of the largest markets.
