GUIS emerges as a benchmark of intl education in Nansha

Guangzhou Ulink International School (GUIS), the first school in Guangzhou, South China's Guangdong province, to enroll children of returned overseas talents, has rapidly emerged as a beacon of excellence since its establishment in Nansha district in August 2024.

GUIS has enhanced Nansha's appeal to top-tier talents by facilitating access to high-quality education.

"We take it a mission to connect the best overseas curriculum and teaching resources to pave the way for Chinese students to access world-class universities," said He Mengsheng, principal of GUIS.

GUIS is a comprehensive K-12 institution encompassing preschool, elementary, middle, and high school divisions. Operated by Guangzhou ULink Education, which boasts over 20 years of academic excellence, GUIS benefits from two renowned high school programs: ULink College (British Curriculum High School) and Nansha College Preparatory Academy (American Curriculum High School). Currently, the school has around 1,300 students, with a capacity of up to 2,200.

"We aim to nurture students who are not only proficient in international knowledge but also have a deep understanding of Chinese culture, ultimately serving as bridges between the East and the West," He said.
