The 2025 Storm Electronic Music Festival Guangzhou concluded triumphantly in Nansha's Music Showground over the 2026 New Year's Day holiday.

Headlined by a powerhouse lineup of 17 international and domestic artists — including trance legend Armin van Buuren, Hardstyle icon Coone, Mandopop star Joker Xue, and top DJ Alesso — the festival delivered non-stop energy. A massive 108-meter stage, state-of-the-art L-Acoustics sound, lasers, drones, and fireworks created a fully immersive experience from afternoon until late night.

The audience profile highlighted the event's widespread appeal: 88.48 percent of attendees were aged 34 or under, and over 93 percent traveled from outside Guangzhou, primarily from the Greater Bay Area and neighboring provinces.

Beyond music, the festival boosted local tourism and consumption. On-site food stalls were highly popular, and joint promotions with over 120 hotels and shopping malls led to impressive results: key hotel occupancy exceeded 85 percent and mall foot traffic saw a notable 23 percent year-on-year increase.

The event reinforced Nansha's image as a vibrant, youthful cultural and tourism destination.
