The Tianhe branch of Guangdong Women and Children Hospital was put into use on Feb 8. It offers various and better maternal and child health services to Tianhe residents.

Currently, its obstetrics, gynecology, pediatrics, prenatal diagnosis, reproductive health and infertility, pediatric surgery, neonatology, as well as clinical anesthesia departments have started receiving patients. Its cosmetology, stomatology, physical examination, traditional Chinese medicine, mammary gland, and otolaryngology departments will open in the future.
