Tianhe exhibitions offer bundles of cultural fun
A variety of exhibitions are taking place in Guangzhou's Tianhe district, promising much fun and knowledge learning for visitors.
The All Things Created by Fade exhibition invited eight artists to interpret the use of faded colors and impressions through various materials and personal forms of expression, ranging from the "light elegance" of colors to using abstract techniques to construct simple imagery. It is now underway at the Houshan Contemporary Art Center, where it will run until June 3.

The Go to the North with Me exhibition at Zhujiang Park is showcasing the 43 oil paintings of Wang Xue, a member of the Chinese Artists Association, and will run until April 16. Born in North China's Hebei, he now works as a teacher at the Affiliated High School of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts in South China's Guangdong.
His works were inspired by his experience of returning home over the years. The warm and humid southern areas and four distinct seasons of northern China present a great visual contrast for Wang.
