There are 222 community cultural service centers in Tianhe, while others in the district's 21 neighborhoods are all rated as provincial special-class cultural centers. Tianhe also now boasts 23 intangible cultural heritage inheritance bases at both the city and district levels.
Its nine officially designated cultural spaces, including the Houshan Contemporary Art Center, have also been listed as new-type cultural space demonstration projects in Guangzhou.
Meanwhile, outstanding literary works from authors born in the district have won 135 provincial and city-level awards, while the Grandview Mall was included in the first batch of national nighttime culture and tourism consumption gathering areas.

Tianhe has furthermore been awarded 10 national titles, such as that of a national cultural export base, and has built eight multi-level cultural industry demonstration industrial parks at the national, provincial, and city levels.
