African-Chinese influencer finds Guangzhou fashion's new promising land
Speaking fluent Cantonese and Mandarin, African-Chinese influencer Fan Zile has more than 400,000 followers on China's popular video-streaming app Douyin.
Fan was born to a Chinese mother and African father and raised in Guangzhou, capital city of South China's Guangdong province.
The 20-year-old model-turned-entrepreneur has started his own fashion brand in Guangzhou.
The city's African community, young people's penchant for street fashion, and pro-business environment have made Guangzhou the first choice for fashion entrepreneurship, said Fan.
