Guangzhou's Tianhe district created 87,601 new urban jobs in 2023, a new high in total, accounting for 26.5 percent of the city's total and 6.26 percent of Guangdong province's total.

Last year, the district helped 7,522 registered unemployed people and 3,077 people with employment difficulties re-employ, fulfilling 113.97 percent and 107.96 percent of its annual goals, respectively.

In recent years, Tianhe has been ensuring stable employment and promoting entrepreneurship.

It arranged for specialists to offer one-to-one services to 909 key enterprises in the district. Through door-to-door services, phone communication, and message recommendations, it helped people with employment difficulties to find a job. It also managed 41 social entrepreneurship incubation bases in the district, giving full play to the bases' role in increasing employment.
