Tianhe exhibition displays artistic harmony
On Aug 9, an Elegant Gathering exhibition opened at the Shangrong Gallery in Tianhe district of Guangzhou, the capital of South China's Guangdong province, and will run through Nov 3.
The exhibition continues the theme, "Atlas: Harmony in Diversity", from China's national pavilion at the 60th International Art Exhibition in Venice, emphasizing the integration of Chinese art with world art and the intersection of ancient art and contemporary art.
It is exhibiting works by artists Che Jianquan, professor at the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, and Wang Shaoqiang, director of the Guangdong Museum of Art, which are regarded as best reflecting the theme.
