Tianhe museum rated as national 2nd-grade
The Grandview Museum of Natural Science in Tianhe district, Guangzhou was recently added to the country's list of "national second-grade museums", the second highest classification for museums in China, as determined by the National Cultural Heritage Administration.
It also became the first natural science museum in Guangdong province to receive this national honor.

The museum, which opened to the public in 2018, has been devoted to building a "borderless" science popularization community.
Throughout the Grandview Plaza, where the museum is located, it set up the World Scientist Wax Museum and turned public toilets into mini museums, building a ubiquitous and accessible "pan-museum" space.

Focusing on children, the museum has developed products and services in the form of in-person interactions, games, competitions, observation, and handicrafts, attracting more than 1 million participants every year.
It was included in the "Cantonese New Trend" list by the Guangdong Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism.
