The yearly fete is scheduled to be held at the Chebei Park in Guangzhou's Tianhe district at 6:30 pm-9 pm on Sept 14 to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival, which falls on Sept 17 this year.

The Chebei Dragon and Lion Dance Team is set to stage their beautiful performances at the event. At the same time, the Chebei Dragon-shaped Fist Martial Arts are expected to show the charm of this kung fu style together with students from the Chebei Primary School.

Classic poems by Su Dongpo from the Song Dynasty (960-1279) are set to be recited by students from the Chebei Primary School, taking visitors to appreciate the infinite charms of this literary genius.

Besides, a host of traditional games, including guessing lantern riddles, pitch-pot, and throwing bean bags, will be prepared to add to people's festive fun.
