Concert blending music, nature held in Tianhe
The fifth Lawn Concert was staged in style and panache on Sept 15 at Zhujiang Park in Tianhe district of Guangzhou – the capital of South China's Guangdong province – on the first day of China's three-day Mid-Autumn Festival holiday.
The concert celebrated the history of Guangzhou's transformation into a modern city that is suitable for living, working and visiting. What's more, it also highlighted the city's openness and inclusiveness with a series of Chinese and international music.
"As a characteristic cultural brand of Zhujiang Park, the Lawn Concert has become a high-quality festival for citizens to get close to nature and enjoy the outdoors," said a senior manager of the park.
