Liede neighborhood evokes international charm
The Liede International Neighborhood was launched on Oct 21 in Tianhe district of Guangzhou – capital of South China's Guangdong province – marking the beginning of its full-scale development as a hub of internationalization, cultural fusion and local charm.
During the launch event, the Hao Yi Tianhe Comprehensive Service Center was introduced to the public.
With a floor space of about 560 square meters, the center includes a range of facilities catering to the living and working needs of Hong Kong, Macao and foreign residents. These include a service station for international residents, a cultural exchange station for Chinese and foreign residents, a volunteer service station and a talent service station.
Umberto Naddei, an Italian businessman, shared his experiences of living in Liede, having been in Guangzhou for 10 months. "I am eager to participate in more activities here and learn about Chinese culture," he said.
"Liede is one of the most international neighborhoods in Guangzhou. I love the buildings, parks and restaurants here and everyone is very friendly," the Italian added, praising its blend of international atmosphere and local culture that makes it a desirable place to live and work.
