The "Colorful Guizhou Joyful Shopping: Chinese New Year's Shopping Festival" kicked off on Jan 10. The Guiyang bureau of culture and tourism will host themed spring celebrations and events at the lawn stage in Colorful Guizhou City in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province. Cultural performances and tourism promotions will be held every day at 2 pm.

Thrilling new travel experiences have already been unveiled, such as Cool Guiyang adventures, Guanshanhu Spring Festival activities, the Guanshanhu Park Lantern Festival, and connected flight routes departing from Guiyang. Upcoming releases include romantic hot springs, southern winter snow experiences, and charming walks through the old towns, offering cultural and tourism delights.

At the Guiyang Pavilion, 11 intangible cultural heritage enterprises and inheritors will showcase traditional craftsmanship, including silver jewelry, embroidery, and batik art. These exhibits will give visitors an up-close experience of the charm of traditional culture.

Visitors can also enjoy hands-on experiences with traditional medicine practices like acupuncture and ancient massage techniques, blending shopping with the profound heritage of traditional Chinese medicine.

The lawn area will host 14 performances and 16 promotional events during the festival, integrating commerce, tourism, and culture.
