Three innovative "Snow+" routes have been unveiled, offering exciting ways to explore the winter tourism charm of Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province. They include "Snow + Hot Springs", "Snow + Adventures + Food", and "Snow + Red Ribbon."

Guiyang's Ice and Snow Season launched on Jan 10 at Yunding Ski Resort in Gaopo township, Huaxi district. The event unveiled the international promotional video Cool Guiyang Welcomes You and introduced 2025 Ice and Snow Season products, including themed routes that combine snow sports and hot springs.

Visitors can experience a day packed with thrilling activities, starting with the speed and adrenaline of skiing at the Yunding Ski Resort, followed by the serene comfort of the Amazing Orchid Pavilion Hot Spring in Xiuwen county. They can immerse themselves in history at Qingyan Ancient Town, savor authentic local delicacies, and explore intangible cultural heritage to feel the town's tranquility and charm. Additionally, they can step into the digital pavilion Hongpiaodai (red ribbon) to vividly relive the moving and heroic stories of the Red Army's Long March.

At the launch event, Yunding Ski Resort also revealed a newly designed intermediate ski trail, offering seasoned skiers an upgraded, more exhilarating experience.

Guiyang is using the Ice and Snow Season to showcase its abundant tourism resources. By blending winter sports with cultural tourism, the city aims to invigorate its ice and snow industry, spark economic growth, and create a vibrant destination for winter enthusiasts.
