Guiyang launches hot spring season

Guiyang's hot spring season launched on Dec 20 in Wudang district, unveiling the "Warm Winter Trio" initiative and a series of themed activities. This year's season integrates multiple regions and sectors to deliver a comprehensive winter wellness and cultural tourism experience, with select promotions valid until March.

The "Warm Winter Trio" includes:

Discounted tickets – Eleven hot spring resorts across Guiyang are offering 20 percent off entrance tickets until March 31.

One-ticket, multi-enjoyment – Hot spring ticket stubs can be used for exclusive discounts at nearly 100 businesses across popular commercial districts, including Qingyun Market, Shizi Street, and Caozhuangyuan Cultural Block. Participating outlets include intangible cultural heritage crafts, local cuisine, craft coffee and beer, beauty and fitness, trendy entertainment, and shopping, with benefits available through the end of March.

Ticket exchange program – In collaboration with Yuejie Cinema, attractions including Four Seasons Guizhou Mountain Hot Spring, Taoyuanhe Amazing Orchid Pavilion Hot Spring, Wanxiang Hot Spring, and Dinosaur Town offer reciprocal benefits: movie tickets grant access to the lowest online prices, and attraction tickets provide up to 50 percent off cinema tickets.

During the Spring Festival period, Baimayu Hot Spring will host a wellness festival featuring themed herbal pools, selenium-rich medicinal cuisine, and intangible cultural heritage blessing ceremonies, blending healing traditions with festive culture.

A spring cultural market was set up at the launch ceremony, showcasing products such as intangible cultural heritage crafts, wellness teas, traditional Chinese medicine lollipops, and ginger-date coffee. Experiential services were also offered, including traditional Chinese medicine consultations and massages.
