The former Guizhou Biopharmaceutical Plant in the Guizhou Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone, now known as the 1958 Cultural and Creative Park, has been selected as part of the second batch of recognized provincial industrial heritage sites in Guizhou province.
Guizhou's industrial heritage refers to industrial sites formed during the province's long industrial development, recognized for their historical, technological, social and artistic value.

Key preserved structures at the former plant include the boiler house, pharmaceutical production workshops, fermentation facilities and mechanical processing buildings.
Founded in 1958, the plant was the province's only veterinary drug manufacturer before 2000, filling a major gap in local production. Its antibiotic oxytetracycline was widely used at the time for its antibacterial properties.
With advances in technology and industry, the plant eventually ceased operations. In 2014, the site was renovated and transformed into the 1958 Cultural and Creative Park, turning a historic factory into a modern cultural landmark that has since become popular with residents and visitors alike.
