Located on the shores of Hongfeng Lake, Youer village in Hongfenghu town, Qingzhen county-level city, Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, boasts stunning natural scenery thanks to its exceptional geographical setting.

As you step into Youer village, the vast, misty expanse of Hongfeng Lake comes into view, with the village's residences thoughtfully arranged along the lakeside. Stone bridges, homestays, and cafés adorned in yellow, red, and blue – accentuated by "Mondrian"-inspired artistic elements – infuse the village with a striking, modern aesthetic that blends seamlessly with its tranquil surroundings.

Youer village is a major village located along Hongfeng Lake, lying within the lake's primary and secondary water source protection zones. Committed to safeguarding the lake, the village has dismantled poultry and livestock farms, stationary fish cages, and feed-based aquaculture facilities within the watershed. It has also completely banned cage fish farming and feed-based aquaculture, effectively reducing sources of pollution.

The village has been making efforts to integrate agriculture with tourism, while focusing on eco-friendly and efficient agriculture and maintaining agriculture as its primary industry.

By collaborating with leading enterprises like Guiyang Vegetable Basket Co and Guizhou Dale Agriculture Technology Development Co and utilizing its strengths in premium fruits and vegetables, the village has developed a comprehensive industry chain. This includes on-site fruit and vegetable harvesting, product packaging, cold-chain transportation, and distribution to supermarkets.

By diversifying its operations, the village has elevated the value of its agricultural products while creating new income opportunities for local residents.

Today, with iconic attractions like ten thousand mu (667 hectares) of flower sea and the "Mondrian Town", Youer village has gained fame as an internet-famous destination. Drawing tourists from across the region and beyond, it is forging an inspiring path toward integrated agricultural and tourism development.
