During the 2025 Spring Festival holiday from Jan 28 to Feb 4, Yunyan district in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, welcomed approximately 1.13 million visitors, marking an 11.2 percent year-on-year increase, while total tourism revenue grew 11.3 percent to 1.11 billion yuan ($152.58 million).

Over the holiday period, A-level scenic spots in the district received 443,913 visitors. Among them, Qianlingshan Park led with 441,423 visitors, making it the most visited site in the city. Yangming Temple recorded 2,490 visitors.
Cultural tourism events played a crucial role in attracting visitors. From Jan 28 to Feb 3, Yunyan hosted 22 cultural tourism activities. Notably, the Spring Festival event on Taiping Road attracted 323,000 visitors.

The holiday season also saw a surge in cultural performances, with 46 commercial shows held over the holiday period in Yunyan, further enriching the festive atmosphere.
