Guizhou Industrial Design City, located in the Yunyan district of Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, will have a dedicated exhibition space at Milan International. Milan International is a prestigious global design event that attracts top designers, brands, and institutions. Jie Tun, head of Guizhou Tongtian Technology Industry Development Co, the operation and management unit of Guizhou Industrial Design City, emphasized that this event will showcase Guizhou's design strength and foster a vital cultural exchange between China and the global design community.
The Guizhou exhibition area, which spans approximately 200 square meters, will showcase Guizhou's cultural heritage through ethnic handicrafts such as Miao silver jewelry, Miao embroidery, and bamboo weaving.
Innovative designs will blend traditional craftsmanship with modern technology, highlighting Guizhou's distinctive fusion of culture and cutting-edge industrial design.
In recent years, Yunyan has promoted industrial design to transform traditional manufacturing into high-end, intelligent, and sustainable industries.
