Hainan accelerates its global investment promotion pace

In the year of the implementation of the overall plan for the construction of Hainan Pilot Free Trade Port, Hainan has been bolstering its global investment promotion. 

The construction of the Hainan Pilot Free Trade Port is a good opportunity for the growth of young people. I spent my youth here and hope to contribute to the development of Hainan, said Ruslan Tulenov of Kazakhstan who is currently working at the Hainan International Business Council. 

"We are working to serve the enterprise," said the Kazakh, who said he has been often overworking recently and has become accustomed to the current state.

Many people like Tulenov have been actively participating Hainan's global investment promotion and have contributed to the settlement of a number of investment cooperation projects. 

The South China island province has explored new ways to promote business investment, such as online business promotions held by the Qionghai vice mayor, online investment promotion events targeting foreign-invested companies, and the opening of its global business service hotline 4008-413-413.

Hainan also strives to offer the best customized services for investors as it has arranged one-on-one "corporate service attendant" for investors and implemented "one-to-one" full-process services, said Huang Shengjian, head of the Hainan International Business Council.

Huang added that his council has teamed up with Hainan counties and cities to establish a one-stop service platform for global investors.

However, the province is not open to all business without discretion. Rather, it is focusing on three major industries and 12 key industries, adhering to the principles of "giving the best resources to the best investors" and "observing the ecological bottom line." 

New cooperation will lead to a new beginning. Hainan is now warmly welcoming investors from all over the world to build a free trade port in Hainan and share development opportunities.
