On June 7, an art exhibition on the intangible cultural heritage (ICH) theme of Hainan province kicked off at Hainan Museum, displaying 106 artworks to publicize Hainan's traditional culture.
The 106 works were created by 72 artists, covering various art categories like Chinese painting, oil painting, printmaking, watercolor, wood carving, coconut carving, paper cutting, and cotton weaving. The exhibition will last for a month until July 7.
The event has a positive effect on the development of culture and art in Hainan Free Trade Port. It is expected to further promote the inheritance and protection of Hainan's ICH items, as well as enhance public attention on the protection of Hainan's intangible cultural heritage and traditional culture.
