Hainan launches 10 routes for research tourism

Hainan province recently launched 10 research tourism routes in 2022, which provides on-site experiences to complement their learning.

The 10 research tourism routes cover various themes, such as an ecological rainforest scientific research tour, an environmental protection research tour, a folklore research tour, and a historical research tour.

Among them, a special tour four-day and three-night tour around the island  includes stops at Lingao Corner Jiefang Park, the Sanya Institute of Deep Sea Science and Engineering, Sanya National Paddy Field Park, the Permanent Venue of the Bo'ao Forum for Asia, Window of the World's Tropical Fruits, as well as Wenchang Space Education Center. It showcases elements like the Fengdouzhe submersible, Nanfan Silicon Valley, the Boao Forum, and aerospace to encourage young people's learning.

The three-day and two-night ecological rainforest scientific research tour includes stops at Hainan Tropical Wildlife Park and Botanical Garden, Xinglong Tropical Botanical Garden, Diaoluo Mountain National Forest Park, Nanwan Monkey Island, Yanoda Rainforest Cultural Tourism Zone, as well as Binglanggu Li and Miao Cultural Heritage Park.

The tour aims to allow tourists to have intimate contact with tropical wild animals and plants, experience the ecological culture of the rainforest, as well as guide young people to establish ecological and environmentally friendly life values.
