On Aug 11, Hainan updated the application system for stranded travelers to apply for departure, which was opened on Aug 10. Two major functions have been added to serve foreign tourists and personnel without identity cards.
Now, people who have registered for their Hainan health codes by other means than ID are able to apply for departure, while people without Hainan health codes can have others apply for departure for them.
Please follow these steps:
1. Register and log in for a Hainan health code
People can register and log in for Hainan health codes through the WeChat Hainan Health Code applet, Alipay Hainan Health Code applet, and the Haiyiban app.
2. Use the Hainan health code to apply for departure
Click "Departure Application" on the home page of the Hainan health code, fill in the information as instructed, and submit the application.
3. For those without Hainan health codes applying for departure
Those without Hainan health codes can have others with Hainan health codes apply for departure for them.
4. Other methods or in case of application failure
If the above methods don't work or in case of application failure, please contact the local COVID-19 prevention and control department for assistance.
