Having more than 40 years of medical experience, Dr. Domurath is an authoritative expert in neurology and urology, and a specialist in molecular biology and microbiology. He worked in the Hospital Charite Universitätsmedizin Berlin, the largest and oldest hospital in Europe with a 300-year history and the home institution of half of the German Nobel laureates in medicine.

Dr. Domurath is also a member of the European Society of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases, the International Spinal Cord Society, the European Spinal Cord Injured Association (German-speaking Region), the German Urological Society, and the German Continence Society.

Dr. Domurath won the first and second European Urology Best Performance Awards in 2012 and 2013 and the European Spinal Cord Injured Association (German-speaking Region) Award.
