Lin Haiyan is a member of the Ultrasound Medicine Branch of the Chinese Medical Association. Lin graduated from Dalian Medical University and was engaged in ultrasound diagnosis from 1980 to 1990. In 1988, Lin won the second prize of scientific and technological achievements in Fengcheng City, Liaoning Province.

Lin worked at the electric clinic of Dandong Central Hospital, Liaoning Province from 1990 to April 2013, the HarMoniCareWomen Shenzhen Women & Children's Hospital from May to December 2013, and the Beijing Junda Hospital in thyroid ultrasound diagnosis from 2014 to 2016.

From 2016 to November 2019, Lin served as Director of the Ultrasound Department at Beijing Oya Cancer Hospital and conducted ultrasound diagnosis of various tumor diseases and the diagnosis and treatment of interventional ultrasound.

Lin has been doing ultrasound diagnosis for 40 years and is proficient in the diagnosis of various common and difficult diseases, including cardiovascular diseases and vascular diseases of extremities. Lin has been appraised as an advanced worker many times and has published academic papers in China’s core journals.
