Professor Felsher is currently Director of the Translational Medicine Center at Stanford University and Professor of the Department of Medicine and Pathology. He teaches at Stanford University and has worked in the university's medical Department, Pathology Department, Clinical Immune Science Center, Gastrointestinal Disease Center, and Comprehensive Cancer Center. He has participated in molecular imaging projects, tumor biology, and medical scientist training projects. So far, he has trained 14 postgraduates with a master's degree and more than 20 postdoctoral researchers.

Professor Felsher has participated in several research projects of the National Institutes of Health in the US on topics including clinical and molecular oncology, molecular carcinogenesis, molecular oncology, and nanomedicine.
