A promotion fair for new preferential policies for the licensed application of medicines and medical devices in Hainan Boao Lecheng International Medical Tourism Pilot Zone was held on Sept 3, gathering representatives from 51 globally prestigious companies that manage the sector.

Being an important component of the big health industry, the biomedical industry is one of the industries that have gained key support from the Hainan Free Trade Port while Lecheng is the main carrier and a leading incubator for Hainan FTP's policies.

The preferential polies offered by the Hainan FTP are expected to provide significant opportunities for companies managing medicines and medical devices. 

The gathering of 51 companies, which included Novartis, Cochlear, Boston Scientific, Bausch Lomb, AstraZeneca, Philips, Sanofi and Pfizer, showcased their confidence in deepening cooperation with Lecheng.
