Jiang Xiaolong, deputy head of Shanghai Hongqiao CBD Administrative Committee inspected the demolition of some illegal buildings in the villages of Hongguang, Hongxing and Taojiajiao in Xinhong subdistrict on Jan 21.

Representatives from the administrative committee’s general office, transportation division, planning division and Xinhong subdistrict also attended the inspection tour.

Jiang affirmed the achievements and efforts made by the subdistrict after listening to the report on the demolition projects. He pointed out that the Xinhong subdistrict plays a key role in Hongqiao CBD’s development and has made great contributions to the district.

Jiang urged the subdistrict to fully implement the measures assigned by the Hongqiao CBD, and that the administrative committee should serve as a demonstration model for the development of subdistricts to better help in solving problems.

Jiang said, “The Xinhong subdistrict should make use of its location to develop various social undertakings, and the administrative committee should research its problems and difficulties and help to resolve them.”
