A senior official of Hongqiao Business District (HBD) in Shanghai inspected construction work at several projects in the area on April 6.

Investigating a rain and sewage pump station under construction near the Hongqiao Transportation Hub, Min Shilin, Party secretary of HBD’s administrative committee, urged workers to made adequate flood-prevention efforts to ensure safety during rainy season.

After hearing work reports from local enterprises, Min encouraged them to accelerate construction projects while striving to meet world-class standards. 

Min also revealed that the HBD administrative committee will raise investment and business attraction efforts, facilitate communication between local companies and create a sound competition environment.
