Officials of Shanghai’s Hongqiao Business District (HBD) investigated the construction of a sightseeing project on April 8.

The project, composed of several street blocks encircled by Shenhong Road, Zhouhong Road, Xihong Road and the Xinjiaopu River, is scheduled to be completed in May and will feature commercial facilities, modern office buildings, green road belts as well as landscaped gardens.

With modernized architecture, clean streets and a refreshing environment, the project is to manifest HBD’s dynamic development, highlighting characteristics such as low-carbon and intelligent life, an integrated traffic network, robotics commerce, complete facilities and humanity adoration. 

The sightseeing project will help raise HBD’s profile and boost development, said Min Shilin, Party secretary of HBD’s administrative committee. He also urged safe and speedy construction work at site.
