A group of people from Shanghai's transportation field visited the Economic and Technological Development Zone in Urumqi city, Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region to share ideas on transportation construction at a seminar on March 28.  

Xue Jihai, Party chief of the zone, introduced the Urumqi high-speed railway project to the guests.

According to Xue, the Urumqi high-speed railway station is one of the top ten regional passenger transport centers supported by China Railway Co. 

Xue said that the station will learn from the Shanghai Rainbow Investment Corp about effective operation management.

Shanghai Rainbow Investment Crop is in charge of the Shanghai Hongqiao transportation hub, an international transportation center involving aviation, high-speed railways and buses, transporting around 1.1 million people every day.  

Chen Xiaoping, general manager of Shanghai Rainbow Investment Corp, responded that the company will spare no efforts to help and share experience with the Urumqi railway project.
