Officials from the Administration Committee of Shanghai Hongqiao Central Business District (CBD) visited Lujiazui, Qiantan and Word Expo Park in Shanghai on April 21.

Approximately 20 officials, including the committee’s Party secretary Min Shilin, executive deputy director Chen Weili and deputy directors Jiang Xiaolong and Fei Xiaomei took part in the visit.

They inspected Shanghai Tower, Lujiazui Century Corridor, Qiantan exhibition hall and Wellington College International Shanghai, and shared their opinions on urban development, cultural branding and high-quality education resources.

Li Jinzhao, secretary of the Communist Party Committee and general manager of Lujiazui Financial and Trade Zone, accompanied the visitors.

While in the World Expo Park, officials visited the World Expo Urban Best Practice Area and the construction site of the Central Enterprises Headquarters to have a discussion with relevant directors of the Expo Shanghai Group.

 Min said that Hongqiao should learn more from Lujiazui and Qiantan’s association with eco-friendly, low-carbon and cultural ethics, as well as the high quality and efficient development of World Expo Park.

Min hoped to have further cooperation with Expo Shanghai Group to promote high-quality development in Shanghai’s key areas.
