A delegation from Jingwei Group, led by Chan Kingwai, chairman of the board of directors, visited Shanghai Hongqiao Central Business District (CBD) on June 8.

Jingwei Group is influential as it has interests in textiles, property, logistics and exhibitions.

Min Shilin, executive deputy director of the Administration Committee of Shanghai Hongqiao CBD, and Fei Xiaomei, deputy director of the committee accompanied the delegation.

Mr Chan Kingwai introduced the present situation and development plans for its projects in Hongqiao, especially the Bauhinia Valley Innovation and Development Industrial Park. 

He said that Jingwei Group will continue to support Hong Kong and Macao’s small and medium-sized enterprises and young startups get a foothold in the Chinese mainland, using the Hongqiao CBD platform.

Min said that Jingwei Group has played an important role in the construction of the Hongqiao CBD, thanks to its projects being propelled by high efficiency, due to the rules of “Mass Entrepreneurship and Innovation”. 

Taking advantages of Hongqiao’s location and transportation, the administrative committee will conduct further communication and cooperation with Jingwei Group, to support relevant projects set to settle in Hongqiao. 

The cooperation will also facilitate the development of functional areas and industrial agglomeration in Hongqiao CBD, added Min.

Fei Xiaomei said that the administrative committee will spare no efforts to support relevant projects of the Jingwei Group in policies and efficient services.
