Min Shilin, executive deputy director of the Administration Committee of Shanghai Hongqiao Central Business District (CBD), met with a delegation from Cook Medical, one of the world's largest privately held medical device manufacturers, on July 21, in celebration of the company’s investment in Hongqiao CBD.

Cook Medical is investing 50 million yuan ($7.51 million) to build an Asian service center for its medical equipment and a logistics center in the district. 

Min welcomed the delegation and spoke of the benefits that Hongqiao CBD is able to offer enterprises investing in the area as well as pledging the support of government departments. He also gave advice on enterprise registration and site selection.

The Cook Medical delegation expressed its appreciation for the support from local government and spoke highly of the convenient transportation system, great investment environment and huge market potential in Hongqiao CBD.
