Hongqiao Central Business District (CBD) is set to gain another landmark luxury five-star hotel as the New Hualian Sofitel Hotel opens on Taihong Road on Sept 28.

Located adjacent to the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Hongqiao CBD, the hotel is only a five-minute drive from the Hongqiao Hub, where Hongqiao's airport and high-speed rail station are based. The hotel is Sofitel's only flagship destination in the Asia-Pacific region.

Covering an area of 35,000 square meters, the hotel provides 354 rooms, three restaurants, two bars, a banquet hall, ten conference rooms, an indoor swimming pool, a gym center and a spa room.
