Adopting a delicacy management

The Hongqiao airport has included energy consumption level as an efficiency indicator for airport management and established a standardized green data management system.

The energy management department of the airport has developed an automatic control procedure for terminals based on flight information, outdoor temperature, moisture, and CO2 concentrations to control central air conditioning systems, ventilation systems and illumination in public areas.

A time-sharing water storage technology is also in place to guarantee cold supply systems and efficient heating.

The airport has also explored a new way of energy management, that is, making sure the saved energy figure matches the total cost of the energy conservation projects.
