Guido Milner, general manager of Sofitel Hotels & Resorts, has his own understanding of the development of Hongqiao Central Business District.

Sofitel Hotels & Resorts, a chain of luxury hotels based in Paris, France and owned by AccorHotels, has settled its only five-star hotel in Asian-Pacific region in Hongqiao CBD.

The general manager believes that the CBD is a developing downtown.

Ten years ago, the area was practically empty and it was also extremely far from the downtown of the time, while now the CBD itself is becoming a city center.
