Anji, Changxing rank among top 100 counties for business environment

Anji and Changxing counties in Huzhou recently ranked 64th and 65th respectively among the top 100 counties with good business environments according to an annual report issued by CCID Consulting Co Ltd on Nov 12 in Beijing.

CCID, a Beijing-based company, was established in 2000. The company mainly provides consulting services for companies and governments in city management, company development, and industrial planning, among other areas.

The list was based on the company's analyses of 1,879 counties and county-level cities in China.

The two counties have been focusing on improving public services and their respective business environments as well as developing their economies under the guidance of the Huzhou municipal government, said officials.

According to official data, in 2018, the gross domestic product of Anji amounted to over 40 billion yuan ($5.7 billion), up 8.3 percent year-on-year, while the figure for Changxing surpassed 60 billion yuan, up 8.5 percent year-on-year.
