Sino-Korean disaster management cooperation meeting held in Deqing

The second Sino-Korean Disaster Management Cooperation Meeting was held in Deqing county, Huzhou, Zhejiang province on Nov 20.

The meeting was held to encourage cooperation and exchange between the two countries in natural disaster response and management.

It was attended by officials from the Department of Disaster Relief and Material Support of the Ministry of Emergency Management of China, Department of Emergency Management of Zhejiang Province, and Ministry of Public Administration and Security of South Korea. Yang Liushun, deputy mayor of Huzhou, addressed the meeting.

Attendees shared their ideas about each other's disaster management reform, response, relief and recovery this year and gave ideas on how to strengthen cooperation in the future.

Both sides agreed to improve disaster management through reform and innovation and bolster cooperation for the sake of regional stability.
