Wuxing hosts culture, tourism conference for entrepreneurs in YRD region

A rural culture and tourism conference for entrepreneurs in the Yangtze River Delta (YRD) region was held on Nov 20 in Wuxing district, Huzhou, East China's Zhejiang province.

Entrepreneurs and experts from 26 cities in the YRD region attended the conference, looking to discuss issues related to rural culture and tourism.

During the conference, a research institute focusing on the culture and tourism industry and a financial service center to aid in the industry's development were established in Huzhou.

A total of 18 projects were signed at the conference focusing on financial services, tourist resorts, health, and ecological agriculture, among other areas.

Wuxing Xisai Mountain Tourist Resort was designated as a rural culture and tourism base for entrepreneurs by the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Culture.

The conference was held by the Wuxing District Government and the Huzhou Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Film, Television, Tourism and Sports under the guidance of the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Culture and the Huzhou Municipal Government.

In recent years, Wuxing district has been making efforts to develop its rural culture and tourism industry.

To date, the district has built a series of villages to serve as cultural tourist destinations and has attracted 36 projects in the industry, bringing in 78.7 billion ($11.2 billion) in investment.
