Located in Huzhou, Zhejiang province, Huzhou Vocational & Technical College is a full-time higher vocational college sponsored by the local government and covering an area of 601 mu (40.1 hectares).

The college has 10,000 full-time students, studying at seven institutes, covering architectural engineering, electrical and automotive engineering, logistics and information engineering, trade and economic management, tourism and public administration, artistic design and adult education.

There are 561 faculties, including 145 teachers with titles of senior professional posts and 363 teachers with master's and doctoral degrees. In addition, it has one teaching team of national level and three teaching teams of provincial level, and five teachers from the province's New Century 151 Talent Project.

The college has actively been exploring cooperation among governments, colleges, institutes and companies. It has formed partnerships with key industrial institutes and companies to set up two industrial academies, nine alliances for integrative development of industry and teaching, as well as 20 research and development service centers. 

It was one of the first colleges in the province to establish an undergraduate startup industrial park. Its startup park was rated as one of the first group of demonstrative bases for undergraduate startups. The students' employment rate in recent years has remained above 97 percent.

The college has been promoting international exchanges and cooperation, and enhancing school management's internationalization level. It has cooperated with England's South Essex College to carry out a Sino-foreign cooperative education program. It has also launched cooperative projects with universities from Canada and Germany.
