Huzhou Third Municipal Hospital, founded in November 1951, is a specialized 3A-grade hospital in Zhejiang province, integrating medical care, prevention, rehabilitation, scientific research and teaching. Focusing on diagnosis and treatment of psychological and mental disorders, it is the affiliated hospital of Huzhou University and undertakes educational tasks for the Medical College of Soochow University, Wenzhou Medical University and Qiqihar Medical University.

Covering an area of about 8 hectares and a construction area of 64,000 square meters, the hospital consists of a medical complex building, a psychiatric ward building and a logistics complex building. The hospital has 900 beds in 16 wards, and employs 726 staff members, 108 of who have senior professional titles.

General psychiatry, psychosomatic, geriatric psychiatry, neurology extrapyramidal disease and geriatrics are key municipal disciplines, among which psychiatry is the key discipline jointly developed by the province and the city.
