An online credibility appraisal system was launched in Huzhou, East China's Zhejiang province on March 15.

Under the system, each individual will be given a unique code based on their credibility score, with a maximum score of 850 points.

Local residents aged above 18 can apply for the codes via the WeChat account gh_1f3eefc4b49c or the local online administrative service app.

The codes are categorized into three different colors. Blue indicates that the holder has a high credibility level, green means that the holder meets the required standards, while yellow indicates that the holder fails to meet the standards.

Blue code holders in the county are entitled to a series of benefits, including loans without guarantees, free parking spaces, shopping discounts, and preferred treatment in aspects including medical care, education, and starting up businesses.

They are also entitled to preferential policies in terms of tourism, catering, and accommodation in cites including Wenzhou, Jiaxing, and Jinhua in Zhejiang.
