Huzhou City Planning Exhibition Hall has cumulatively received more than 10,000 visits since it officially opened on May 4, according to local news reports on June 8.

Lying in the northeast corner of Huzhou Olympic Park, the exhibition center is considered a city landmark which caters for the welfare of residents. It is the first three-star green building to provide space for city displays, entertainment and conference events.

Covering a total construction area of 10,000 square meters, and costing 170 million yuan ($25.5 million), the exhibition hall comprehensively explores Huzhou's fascinating landscape by creating eight special sections, with each of them dealing with a different theme.

Visitors can learn how the city has been planned and evolved through pictures, models, immersive movies, videos and books in the reading bars.
