Taihu Ancient Town, located in the Taihu Lake Longemont Paradise, a tourist complex in Huzhou, is worth visiting.

Unlike other ancient towns in Jiangnan – a term referring to areas south of the Yangtze River – the town is a commercial block built in the style of an ancient town.

It is home to 64 hotels, more than 100 bars and restaurants, hundreds of stalls selling local specialties, and 20 theatres.

Fanfo Tower is a great place to witness panoramic views of the town as well as captivating natural views of surrounding areas. Adults must pay 30 yuan ($4.6) to enter the tower.
