A delegation composed of diplomats and business association representatives from 15 countries including Indonesia, Colombia, Nigeria, Brazil, Egypt, and Vietnam embarked on a three-day trip to Huzhou, East China's Zhejiang province on June 22.

Huzhou has been continuously promoting reform and opening-up and has achieved remarkable results in international cooperation and exchanges, he said.

Wang also expressed hope that the delegation's visit would enable them to learn more about the city, as well as encourage them to play an active role in boosting pragmatic cooperation between Huzhou and their countries in fields including high-end services, advanced manufacturing, and strategic emerging industries.

The mayor also expressed the desire to advance Huzhou's exchanges with these countries in aspects including culture, healthcare, and ecological conservation.

Deny Wachyudi Kurnia, consul general of Indonesia in Shanghai and head of the delegation, said that Huzhou is the birthplace of the concept which states "lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets".

He added that he believed that the on-site trip will allow them to gain a deeper understanding of Huzhou's development, adding that the delegation is willing to act as a bridge to boost Huzhou cooperation with their countries and achieve mutually beneficial results.
