Anji designated a sub-venue for CPC and World Political Parties Summit

The Communist Party of China (CPC) and World Political Parties Summit was held at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing, capital of China, via video link on July 6.

The summit, themed "For the People's Well-Being: The Responsibility of Political Parties", is an important multilateral diplomatic event held at a time when the CPC is marking the centenary of its founding.

More than 500 leaders of political parties and organizations from more than 160 countries, as well as over 10,000 Party representatives participated in the event.

Besides the main venue in Beijing, the event was also held in sub-venues including Anji county, East China’s Zhejiang province.

Yuan Jiajun, secretary of the CPC Zhejiang Provincial Committee, and Zheng Shanjie, governor of Zhejiang, attended the event in Anji.
