Huzhou hosts Zhejiang High-quality Development Think Tank Forum

The third Zhejiang High-quality Development Think Tank Forum was held in Deqing county, Huzhou, East China's Zhejiang province on Sept 16.

A number of government officials, entrepreneurs, scholars, and experts attended the forum, offering their in-depth insights into Zhejiang's high-quality development.

Zhu Guoxian, head of the publicity department of the CPC Zhejiang provincial committee, noted that digital reform is a significant step taken by Zhejiang to achieve high-standard development, adding that some reform practices launched by the province has gained nationwide recognition, resulting in great improvement in governance capacity and efficiency.

Pointing to Huzhou's campaign to build undifferentiated urban and rural areas, Zhu lauded it as an innovative practice and expressed hope that the local government roll out a more detailed action plan to set an example for the province in its "common prosperity" campaign.

Mayor Wang Gang noted that Huzhou has been sticking to a green development path while making sustained efforts in business climate optimization in recent years.

He also expressed hope that the forum's attendees would contribute more of their wisdom to the city's social and economic development. 

Pan Yunhe, academician at the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Chen Hongmin, professor at the Antai College of Economics and Management of Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Liu Yuan, professor at the College of Management of Zhejiang University, also delivered keynote speeches at the forum.
