Huzhou Customs has issued 75 inspection and quarantine certificates using the "online issuance system", which has been in trial operation for a month.

The online issuance system is a new model of inspection and quarantine certificate issuance that allows companies to apply for certificates online and receive them electronically, helping stimulate foreign trade.

Information can be entered into the system with one click following 23 preset certificate templates in the database, key elements can be supplemented in real time, and declared elements can be automatically associated and compared.

After the system's intelligent audit, customs officers can draft and sign certificates online in real time. Companies can choose to print their certificates themselves or collect them on-site according to their production progress and export plans.

"Customs' online issuance system is so convenient that you can now complete the declaration on the computer, receive the electronic account data in just a few seconds, and print the certificate yourself. Not having to visit customs frequently saved our company a lot on time and labor costs," said Xu Tao, a higher-up at Zhejiang Huada Tea Co Ltd with a just-obtained plant quarantine certificate.
